  • 2 tablespoons Butter (Melted.)
  • 1 tablespoon Hot Pepper Sauce (Like Tabasco; adjust for spice preference.)
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar (Lemon juice can be an alternative.)
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder (Fresh garlic can be used, approx. 1 clove.)
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (Omit if you prefer milder flavors.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse the chicken under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Mix the melted butter, hot pepper sauce, and apple cider vinegar in a bowl.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, inside and out.
  5. Season the cavity with garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  6. Place the chicken in a roasting pan, breast side up.
  7. Roast for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. Allow the chicken to rest for 10 minutes before carving.
