- 8 ounces Cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh dill
- 2 tablespoons Sliced chives
- 8 ounces Smoked salmon
- 1 small Red onion
- 1 tablespoon Whole grain mustard (optional)
- 2 tablespoons Capers (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the baguette into ½-inch thick pieces on a bias and arrange them on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle olive oil generously over the baguette slices.
- Toast in the oven at 375°F for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix cream cheese with lemon juice and chopped dill in a bowl until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the toasted baguette slices.
- Layer with slices of smoked salmon.
- Garnish with sliced red onion and a sprinkle of additional dill.
- Serve with mustard and capers on the side.
Notes
- For extra creaminess, add avocado slices atop the salmon.
