Description

Elegant and easy Smoked Salmon Crostini perfect for effortless entertaining. Golden-brown baguette slices topped with a creamy dill and cream cheese spread, finished with silky smoked salmon, red onion, and dill.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Baguette
  • 2 tablespoons Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh dill
  • 2 tablespoons Sliced chives
  • 8 ounces Smoked salmon
  • 1 small Red onion
  • 1 tablespoon Whole grain mustard (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Capers (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the baguette into ½-inch thick pieces on a bias and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  2. Drizzle olive oil generously over the baguette slices.
  3. Toast in the oven at 375°F for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Mix cream cheese with lemon juice and chopped dill in a bowl until smooth.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the toasted baguette slices.
  6. Layer with slices of smoked salmon.
  7. Garnish with sliced red onion and a sprinkle of additional dill.
  8. Serve with mustard and capers on the side.
